CLI Reference

All source-processing commands accept --header-language c|cpp for .h files. The default is c; choose cpp for C++ headers named .h. Other extensions are unaffected. See language support for the selection policy and tested extraction capabilities.

Shared scan controls

All five source-processing commands accept these controls in addition to their command-specific flags:

Quote globs. Includes do not override ignore rules or test filtering. Symlinks are skipped and reported. Partial analyses carry diagnostics on stderr and in parse JSON errors / SKT [errors]. See analysis reliability for scan boundaries and output guarantees. These controls describe unreleased changes after 0.5.0.

Extract structural information from source code into .skt files or JSON.

The output directory defaults to ./skeleton when not specified. In inline mode, output is written to stdout and no directory is used. With --format json, directory output is written as codeknit.json.

Generate an interactive HTML graph visualization of the codebase structure.

The generated HTML file is self-contained and opens automatically in your default browser.

Detect duplicate and near-duplicate code using fuzzy hashing.
