End-Of-Life & OS Notice
Refer below for the list of EOL (End of Life) and Known Caveats. SOCA will continue to backport features to all OS, but lack of support (especially for EOL systems) may prevent us to enable all features for all OS.

- As of October 2023, Rocky does not have announced support for c7i-flex instance.
End-Of-Life (EOL) Operating Systems¶
CentOS7 🚨¶
EOL
CentOS 7 is currently in EOL and will not receive any further support from Red Hat.
- DCV is restricted to 2023.1 release. Newer releases don't work on CentOS7.
- User-Data is not executed as python3 is not shipped on the AMI. Consider an AMI with python3 pre-installed if you need to use Centos7
RHEL7 🚨¶
EOL
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 is currently in EOL and will not receive any further support from CentOS.
- EFA shipped via SOCA is no longer supported. Consider using an older version if you are planning to use RHEL7 + EFA.
- DCV is restricted to 2023.1 release. Newer releases don't work on RHEL7.
- User-Data is not executed as python3 is not shipped on the AMI. Consider an AMI with python3 pre-installed if you need to use Centos7
